  1. Love that almond flour cookbook- I have never heard of one- i was looking at the preview on amazon and it calls for "blanched almond flour" we usually use the trader joes almond meal in baking- any idea if this would work? I think I will try, but just curious if you had tried anything similar? Thanks!

  2. oops I just went on her blog and found the answer- nope I need to get blanched almond flour for them to work....

  3. Katie- I recently bought the Elana's Almond-Flour cookbook but am wondering how you usually handle the ingredients like grape seed oil and agave nectar? Have you found an easy way to convert to coconut oil and honey or maple syrup, or does it really depend on the recipe and experimenting? I'm kinda nervous to start making the substitutions without any advice because they are all pretty expensive ingredients for the end product to not work. Thanks for all your wonderful tips and recipes! God bless :) -Carrie

  4. Hi Carrie! I use expeller-pressed coconut oil instead of grape seed oil and I have substituted maple syrup or rapadura for agave nectar and they have both worked really well. Have fun with the book! :)

I value your feedback. Thanks for taking the time to share yours!
