Gluten-Free Weekly Menu Plan, Week 9

Well friends, this is my last menu plan until September, when my favorite CSA delivers to our area again.  I'm feeling the need to greatly simplify life as my body works hard, supporting the little life the Lord is knitting in my womb.  All spare energy for the rest of the summer will be funneled towards connecting with family, preparing for the school year, and doing what little I can to prep a plot of the homestead for a little orchard that we'll plant in the winter (and a wee bit of blogging on the side during rest times).  So... After scrounging up simple recipes that are the best received at this home, the following will be our weekly menu for the next six weeks.

  2. Thanks Katie for all the delish receipes!
You and Jeremy both amaze me! I love your web site, his music, and your story of living in the 5th wheel!
    God Bless you both!

  3. This is sooo wonderful! I love it. What is in the pot? It looks amazing... almost as if I can smell it. What a wonderful blog you have. I agree with Jeanie- bless you and Jeremy and all your family. Everything from your blog, his music and the way you run your family has blessed me. I pray the Lord's richest and choicest blessings over all over you!
    Thanks again! :)

  4. Thanks so much! The recipe pictured above is

  5. I've just found your blog recently and I love it! Thanks for posting this. I have somehow forgotten to plan with all the early prep work written down. Then it's time to cook and I am not ready!
We've just started homesteading (Idaho) and I am trying to figure out this new way of life with a my baby, my little boys, the dairy goats, chickens, homeschooling and the eminent purchase of a cow. I really need to get it together!

  6. I recently found your blog via A Whole New Mom and I love it! I have been reading through your archives and gleaning a ton about health and homesteading! We have just started to go gluten free to see if it will help some of the issues that my husband and daughter are having. This is a completely new way of thinking and cooking for me so I really appreciate your meal plans and recipes.

I do have a question though, do you make your own gluten free tortillas for your mostly raw wraps or do you you buy them? If you make them would you mind posting the recipe (or linking to a good one) if you buy them what brand do you like? Thanks!!

  7. HI there! Thanks for taking the time to share such sweet words. :) We sometimes use sprouted tortillas. Although they arent technically gluten-free, most of the gluten is used up in the sprouting process. Here's a link to a grain-free tortilla recipe:

I value your feedback. Thanks for taking the time to share yours!
